George Cross kilt, St George kilt, England kilt, English kilt

Launched in January 2010 we believe that this was the first ever commercially available English kilt (please let us know if we are wrong!)  This Skilt is made out of off-white denim (pure white marks too easily) with an applique red cross on the front apron and a horizontal red strip running all the way around. Wear with or without the pockets supplied.

Perfect for when England play Scotland in the rugby and popular with ska fans.   As worn by Lee Thompson of Madness while performing at the London 2012 Olympic closing ceremony.

Hi, We live in New Zealand, but we are originally from Nottingham. We met a guy at the Wellington (Rugby) Sevens with a St George’s Cross Skilt on and he told us where it was from. We are coming to England in April 2016 and I would like to order/buy one. I am a 34-36 inch waist and 6ft 2inches. Would the Small/Medium be OK and can we just call into the shop and buy one off the peg?

    • Hi there. Is that your trouser size or measured? I recommend checking the waist and length (22.5 inches) with a towel. I usually have them in stock but not always so it might be better to order it online. I could either keep it aside or send it out to you.
      Cheers
      Richard

Thanks Richard. I have measured a tea towel and put it next to me :). 57cm (22.5 inches) works out fine, just below the knee. I’ll contact you nearer the time we arrive to order one on line. Thanks again – Fraser

    • Hi Roger,

Yes we could do that. I couldn’t get that link to work – do they sell the fabric as well as making blazers?

Drop me a line on richard@skilt.co.uk

      Thanks,
      Richard.

Can you get this with the rose on too? I dine out from the military after 22yrs in March and would love to have this as my leaving gift as I’m a massive England Rugby fan but live in Scotland. The calculation cup with my brother in law would never be the same again. Ha ha.

    • Hi Matthew,

Yes we could do that. We can source an embroidered rose and stitch it on wherever you would like for an extra £10.

      Cheers,

      Richard.

Do you have any second hand st georges skilts! As I go out with a lot of Scottish kilt wearers and a £250 would be attacked!! So a second hand one would be defended but not to the death lol I’m a 32 inch waist!thank you!
