Order a modern kilt in your traditional tartan

Modular pleats allow multi-colour designs

Complex designs are agreed on paper first

Horizontal hoops can be achieved with applique techniques

Kilts marked ‘made to order’ are probably available – subject to us having enough fabric left on the roll.  Shortening and lengthening are both possible before the pleats are sewn in so let us know if you have any special requests when you put in your order.  Feel free to drop us a line if you have any questions.  Made to order kilts are usually ready in about 28 days depending on how busy our tailors are. If you have something special in mind we can probably make it for you. We have designed bespoke kilts for military personal in regimental colours, sports fans in team colours and grooms wanting something special for their wedding. Either supply your own fabric (depending upon the pattern one skilt takes 4-5 metres of 1.5m wide fabric) or we will do our best to source it for you from one of our wholesale suppliers. The following prices are for relatively simple made to order kilts.  Complex designs or difficult fabrics may cost more.

Jackets and Kilt Suits

We don’t make jackets or waistcoats but we know a man who can. If you are interested in having a stunning kilt suit made up then we can build the kilt for you and supply fabric and buttons to our partner tailors at MacGregor & MacDuff who will make you a matching jacket and waistcoat to the measurements you provide.Prices range from £184 for an Argyll jacket but we like the Glen Orchy jacket and Waistcoat at £279 and the Glen Etive jacket and waistcoat at £399.  For more information click here >>Or design your own unique King’s Club jacket for £499.  For more information click here >>

Kilt Jacket and Accessory Hire

Do you have an occasion coming up that requires a more formal look?  We don’t hire our kilts out because we know that customers want to keep them and wear them again and again.If you buy the kilt from us we have arranged with our friends at MacGreggor and MacDuff to hire you everything else that you need at a discount of 33% off their normal hire price.You get: Jacket, Waistcoat, Shirt, Tie, Sporran, Belt and Buckle, Sgian Dubh, Garter Flashes, Ghillie Brogues, and new Kilt Hose (that can be kept).Depending on the style of jacket you choose the cost for the hire is between £39 and £66.  If you cannot get to one of their shops for a fitting then they can do it mail order for an extra £80.  Just mention that you already have a Skilt so you don’t need kilt hire and you’d like the 33% discount instead.  For more information click here >>
